The beginning of August saw over 100 staff, trustees and volunteers take to the Thames for a riverboat cruise from Westminster to Putney and back; a record attendance for the annual Volunteer’s Boat Party.
The event is our way of saying thank you to our volunteers, for the amazing efforts they make to help Scots in London.
Guests were lucky to enjoy a warm sunny evening passing by icons of the London skyline. Vice President Wylie White spoke about how ScotsCare has become a vital community and resource for Scots in London, and thanked volunteers for their work. The ScotsCare choir gave a stellar performance, before the boat wound its way back Westminster.
