The St. Andrew’s Festival Ceilidh
On Saturday 16 November, ScotsCare held its first St Andrew’s Festival Ceilidh at St Columba’s Church of Scotland in Knightsbridge. Over 180 attendees were entertained by the London Scottish Pipes and Drums and the Craigievar Ceilidh Band. The evening was opened and introduced by Chairman Kevin Lynch, and MC’d by Trustee Callum Ross. To mark the end of the night, our CEO Shona Fleming made a speech, before inviting everyone to join in Auld Lang Syne.
A raffle was held during the evening with prizes included a painting, Tunnock’s Tea Cakes Luxury Umbrella designed by Gillian Kyle, signed copy of The Dark Wives by Ann Cleeves and two tickets for her event at the St Andrew’s Book Festival on Saturday 30 November, amongst other prizes. Thank you to everyone who donated prizes for the raffle.
It was a fantastic evening, celebrating ScotsCare, Scottish culture and St Andrews Day, all the while raising funds for our services!
