ScotsCare to take part in Scots in London Gala evening - tickets available!

We are delighted to announce that ScotsCare will be taking part in the Scots in London Gala Evening on Wednesday 11 October 2023 at 7pm.

Join us at St Columba’s Church, Pont Street, SW1X 0BD for a Gala concert filled with Scottish music, dance and recitation, and then enjoy a reception with drink and Scottish canapes whilst exploring all the member organisations that make up Scots in London. The Gala Concert will be officially opened by our Patron, HRH The Princess Royal.

Highlights from the concert programme include:

– Traditional music from a Scottish folk duo
– Joint performance by the ScotsCare Choir and the Choir with no Name with celebrated traditional singer Isla St Clair
– Piping from the members of the Pipes and Drums of the London Scottish Regiment
– Recitation from Downton Abbey’s actor David Robb
– Highland Dance display

ScotsCare is proud to be a founding member of Scots in London, a new not-for-profit initiative established to bring people together by running events and by coordinating the publicising the activities of our members and other Scottish groups, and to advance Scottish culture and heritage in London.
