Kevin, Jenny and Pete complete #royalparkshalf marathon for ScotsCare!
All 3 get round the course in hot conditionsOn a 25C day in October, Kevin, Jenny and Pete ran the #royalparkshalf marathon, battling through the heat to cross the line.
Sunday 8th saw the 3 runners take on the challenge for ScotsCare. Pete hit his target of under 1 hour 40 minutes, but was feeling it at the end:
“For the last 5km i was just trying to hold my pace and ignore how hot I was!”
The central London route, took runners through Hyde Park, past famous landmarks, such as Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square, taking in Green Park and St. James’s Park, in huge waves of runners, totalling 16,000.

You can still donate to the cause, which all goes to supporting homeless and disadvantaged Scots in London. Can you help them hit their combined target of £2000? Please donate here.
