Bereavement in difficult times
During the pandemic many of us have been unfortunate to lose a loved one, and with the added restrictions in place, it can be even harder to cope, and know what to do next. For both our mental health and the legal requirements surrounding bereavement, the website of the London Mayors office has some excellent guidance and resources. It has information on how to register a death for example, and also information about where to find support in paying for a funeral. You can find all the resources here www.london.gov.uk/coronavirus/how-cope-bereavement-and-grief-during-cor onavirus-outbreak
ScotsCare also provides counselling through our partnership with Camden Psychotherapy Unit, if you feel you could benefit from talking to a qualified counsellor.
Please feel free to contact us on 0800 652 2989. We can also help with the cost of funerals up to £1000 through our funeral grants in many cases, please get in touch.
