Extending our counselling service to weans
ScotsCare are delighted to announce that they have partnered with the Brent Centre for Young People to expand our counselling services to children, up to the age of 21.
Mental health is just as important as financial and practical issues for our clients, so we are pleased to be increasing our services in this area, especially for children with the pressures of the modern world. Some of the areas that their trained therapists can assist your children with include risk of suicide, self-harm, disorders, depression, and anxiety as well as those at risk of offending or school exclusion.
Unaddressed mental health issues in children tend to worsen in adulthood. Early intervention reduces the likelihood of this occurring. If you feel your child could benefit from speaking with a professional, please contact us on 0800 652 2989 to speak with a case worker, who will initially carry out an assessment of your family’s needs with you before completing a referral to be passed on to the service.
