It’s never easy bringing up kids. Especially if you’re on a low income in London.
That’s where we come in. As well as school grants, we also help with things like fun activities for your children. We organise adventure trips away, where the kids can build their confidence and self-esteem.
Family SupportOur Family Support Team can help you and your family address overarching issues which impact parenting. We can help you to work with the professional networks involved in your family’s life to get the best for you and your children. Clothing grantOur children’s clothing grants can help with the expense of school uniforms and other children’s clothing. |
Children’s activity grantsOur children activity grants grant enables you to let the child take part in a sport or extracurricular activity of their choice. Popular activities include swimming, football, rugby, drama lessons and learning to play an instrument – e.g. piano and flute. In some circumstances, this grant can go towards supporting the cost of a school trip. Please call us on 0800 652 2989 to start the process of applying for a children’s activity grant. |
Mentoring for Young Adults (ages 14-18)
We understand how difficult it can be as a teenager trying to make the first steps into adulthood and being faced with choices that could have a big impact on their life. Some people don’t want to make these choices as they are understandably anxious about making the wrong decisions, this is where a Mentor could really help.
ScotsCare are offering six sessions of one to-one mentoring sessions to young adults via Zoom. Please get in touch to discuss this further with a member of our team.
