Legacy Giving
A lasting gift to support vulnerable Scots in London for generations to come Give in your willGive in MemoryLegacy Giving at ScotsCare can be made in two ways:
a gift left in your will or made in memory
We promise to honour your gift instructions, using it to fund any of our life-changing support to the children, families, adults and older people who are our clients.
Why leave a gift in your will to ScotsCare?
ScotsCare was founded over 400 years ago in 1603 and is the only charity dedicated to providing financial, practical and emotional support, specifically for vulnerable Scots and their families living across London.
Our priority clients are families with children, homeless or insecurely housed adults, older people and working age adults. Our support is available to those:
- who were born in Scotland or;
- persons one of whose parents in each case was born in Scotland or;
- widows, widowers and survivors of civil partnerships of persons who were born in Scotland or;
- widows, widowers and survivors of civil partnerships of persons one of whose parents in each case was born in Scotland.
Many are socially excluded from society and face a combination of linked problems such as unemployment, discrimination, poor skills, low incomes, homelessness and poor housing, bad health and family breakdown. These problems are linked and mutually reinforcing so that they can create a vicious cycle in people’s lives.
Legacy gifts help us to plan long-term and ensure we continue our services for future generations.
